Apartments Domingo – Famara Lanzarote
This group of apartment buildings is situated in the very North of Lanzarote – in one of the most tranquil and most idyllic parts of the island. The apartments have two bedrooms, a fully-fitted kitchen and a bathroom/toilet, a large and cosily furnished lounge and a large pool.
One of the two bathrooms has a double bed, the other one has two seperate beds – so there is room for at least 4 people. The interior may not be completely new, but is in a very well-kept and neat condition.
At the front entrance of the apartment, there is a terrace with seats and sunloungers. From here, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the cliff line of Famara, which looks most beautiful during sunset. You get to the pool of the apartment complex through the rear entrance. The pool is enclosed by a 2 metre wall and beautiful palms. The wall is not only protect from curious eyes (the nearest houses are about 500 metres away), but also from the wind.
Thus you can enjoy the Canarian sun undisturbed on the very large pool. A proper bathroom/toilet and a lounge with cooking facilities are also part of the pool area!
Location & Ambience
The spectacular and unique about this apartment complex is probably its completely isolated location in a desert-like landscape between the beach of Famara and the fishing village La Santa. You get to the apartment complex by a private driveway with a length of about 1km (which only you may use).
The completely tranquility is only accompanied by the wind and the waves of the ocean. The apartments stand all alone in a landscape that relaxes mind and body from the first moment on, as the nearest neighbours are about 500 metres away.
So there won’t be any neighbours complaining about loud music or peeking at your pool!
There is a small volcanic cone, about 100 metres high, just a few metres away, which offers the oportunity for a little walk. A few hundred metres away, you may also enjoy the tranquility on a small dream beach, which is only frequented by locals.
The villa in general is the perfect starting point for an excursion of the North of Lanzarote. You are at the mile-long dream beach of Famara, a true mecca for surfers and kite surfers, within 5 minutes by car, which you can park right in front of your apartment.
The lookout point Mirador del Rio, the fishing villaga La Santa and the oldest town of the island Teguise can be reached by car within minutes. An excursion to one of the smallest of the Canary Island called La Graciosa, is another convenient option.
